Our love for authentic South East Asian flavours began with family recipes shared at home. Over time, these favourites became popular beyond our kitchen, inspiring a business built on tradition and care. Today, we continue to bring the same warmth and flavour to families and businesses across Australia.


Our story started in our parents’ Malaysian restaurant, where their Curry Puffs were a huge hit. At the request of other chefs and restaurants, they began sharing these family recipes beyond the restaurant. This marked the beginning of a journey into the food service business. From the very start, authenticity and flavour were at the heart of everything we made.
When my sister Ramona and I took over, we embraced the family mission wholeheartedly. We aimed to share our love of South East Asian food with a wider audience across Australia. Our focus was on maintaining quality and honouring the recipes passed down through generations. This period set the foundation for growth and innovation in our products.


To meet growing demand, we invested in a dedicated production facility. This allowed us to scale up while maintaining the same attention to quality and flavour. It was a milestone that enabled us to serve more restaurants, cafes, and families reliably. The facility reflects our commitment to excellence in every product we make.

Anthony is the general manager of Tamby Foods. Being in the business his whole life, it’s his mission to oversee the growth and direction of Tamby and to make it the household name his parents always dreamed of.

Ramona has been making Curry Puffs since she was 8 years old with our parents and is a gifted cook. Head of our product development and recipes, she ensures our products are consistently at the best standard possible.

Amandeep has been with the business for 8 years and seen us through our biggest growth and transformations. He’s a dedicated and tireless worker whose leadership and enthusiasm keeps our production line and production team humming.
